A desperate manhunt is underway to find a man after a Yorkshire sex worker and a man were found dead with their throats cut.

Convicted prostitute Sharon Pickles, 45, was found with her throat slit inside a flat in Marylebone, Central London, at 9.30pm on Thursday night, August 19.

Just five hours later police then found the body of 59-year-old Clinton Ashmore, known locally as "Cliff" at another flat just five minutes away.

His throat had also been cut.

Metropolitan Police say that they are searching for 49-year-old Lee Peacock in connection with the two murders.

They have now issued CCTV of Peacock at North Wembley Station on the night of the killings in a bid to help trace him.

Peter Sutcliffe, the man more commonly referred to as the Yorkshire Ripper, has died while serving a life sentence prison for the murder of thirteen innocent women. It's reported that Sutcliffe refused treatment for COVID-19 and had underlying health conditions. His spate of tragic killings in the North of England stretched from 1975 to 1980. He was finally convicted in 1981.
