Exploring London’s Cultural Landmarks

London's cultural scene is a treasure trove. And a Brazilian escort from City Butterflies can be your perfect guide to the city's iconic landmarks and hidden gems.

Visiting museums and galleries

London's museums and galleries offer a feast for the eyes. With a Brazilian escort, you'll see art in a new light. The British Museum houses ancient treasures from around the globe.

You can marvel at the Rosetta Stone or gaze at Egyptian mummies. For modern art lovers, Tate Modern is a must-see. Its vast turbine hall hosts jaw-dropping installations. Your escort can share insights on Brazilian artists featured there.

Many galleries have late-night openings. These events mix art with drinks and music, making them perfect for a date night with your escort.

Walking tours of historic sites

Historic walks in London offer a perfect blend of culture and romance. With a Brazilian escort, you'll see famous spots with fresh eyes. Big Ben, Tower Bridge, and Buckingham Palace come alive with stories.

Your guide can share fun facts about each place, making history exciting.

These tours let you soak up London's charm at your own pace. Stop for photos, grab a coffee, or enjoy each other's company. It's a great way to chat and get to know your escort better.

Nightlife and Entertainment

London's nightlife sparkles with Brazilian flair. You'll find samba rhythms and caipirinhas at every turn – perfect for a night out with your Brazilian companion.

Brazilian-themed bars and clubs

Brazilian-themed bars and clubs offer a slice of Rio right in London. These lively spots pulse with samba rhythms, and caipirinhas flow freely.

Fancy a night out? Head to Guanabara in Covent Garden. It's a top pick for Brazilian flair. Live bands play infectious tunes while bartenders whip up tropical cocktails. Or try Floripa in Shoreditch for a more laid-back vibe.

Live music events and performances

London's nightlife shines with Brazilian energy. You'll spot buzzing samba clubs and snug bossa nova bars across the city. These places bring a taste of Rio to the UK capital. Your Brazilian companion can show you the top spots where you'll dance all night to catchy beats.

Live music is the core of Brazilian culture. Many London venues often host Brazilian bands and singers. From smooth MPB to upbeat axé, there's always a tune for everyone!

Relaxing in London's Parks

London's parks offer a breath of fresh air. You can unwind with your Brazilian companion in these green havens.

Picnics with a Brazilian twist

Fancy a picnic with a Brazilian flair? London's parks offer the perfect backdrop for a tasty outdoor feast. Pack a basket with Brazilian treats like pão de queijo and brigadeiros.

Add some fresh tropical fruits and a bottle of cachaça for caipirinhas. Your Brazilian escort can share stories about picnic traditions back home. It's a great way to enjoy the city's green spaces while tasting Brazil.

It's a chance to relax, laugh, and soak up some sunshine... Brazilian style!

Leisurely walks and boat rides

London's parks offer a peaceful escape with your Brazilian escort. Stroll hand-in-hand through lush gardens or along serene waterways. Hyde Park and Regent's Park boast lovely paths for a relaxed walk.

You can chat, laugh, and enjoy each other's company away from the city buzz.

Fancy a bit of romance? Hop on a boat ride in Little Venice or the Serpentine. These gentle trips let you see London from a new angle. Your escort might share stories about Brazil as you glide past willow trees and quaint houseboats.

Shopping at Brazilian Markets and Shops

Want a taste of Brazil in London? Pop into the vibrant Brazilian markets dotted around the city. You'll find colourful crafts, zesty foods, and lively chatter – like a mini Rio in the Big Smoke!

Purchasing Brazilian crafts and products

London's Brazilian markets burst with colour and life. You'll find handmade treasures that capture Brazil's spirit. Picture vibrant textiles, intricate wood carvings, and bold jewellery.

These unique items make perfect souvenirs or gifts. Your Brazilian escort can help you pick out authentic pieces and explain their cultural significance.

Traversing these streets, you'll find rare Brazilian treats like pão de queijo or brigadeiros. It's fun to share your escort's culture and try new dishes together.

It's a great chance to chat and get to know each other better. Plus, you'll feel like you've had a mini-holiday to Brazil... in central London!

Conclusion

London offers a world of fun with a Brazilian escort. From tasty meals to exciting nights out, there's lots to do. You'll make great memories exploring the city together. These activities let you enjoy each other's company in style.

Why not look for a hot Brazilian escort today and see where the adventure takes you?

Feminist critics, resorting to outdated rhetoric, are blasting taxpayer-funded researchers for their efforts to improve sex workers' safety. The SWERV (Sex Workers Evaluate Reporting Violence) project, spearheaded by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, Brunel University London, and the sex worker charity National Ugly Mugs (NUM), has secured nearly £1 million from the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR). This grant supports the study of how NUM’s innovative services, such as the “NUMchecker,” enhance the safety and mental health of sex workers. Despite the clear benefits, feminists are labeling the researchers as “worse than old-school pimps.”

Rachel Moran, a self-proclaimed women’s rights advocate, has vehemently opposed the research, calling it a “self-evident disgrace.” Moran, whose notoriety stems from her book Paid For – My Journey Through Prostitution, argues that these funds should directly aid women in prostitution rather than support a research project. Her assertion that the researchers are akin to “vultures” profiting from the sex trade dismisses the real-world impact these tools have in improving sex workers’ lives. Moran’s perspective, while sensational, fails to acknowledge the complexities of sex work and the urgent need for practical safety measures.

Anna Fisher, co-founder of Nordic Model Now!, joins Moran in denouncing the project. Fisher’s rhetoric suggests that the research promotes prostitution as a “normal job,” disregarding the clear objective to make sex work safer. Her claim that the research has a vested interest due to NUM’s involvement is a cynical dismissal of the rigorous, peer-reviewed process that underpins academic integrity. Fisher’s stance overlooks the crucial fact that sex workers face immediate dangers, which the SWERV project aims to mitigate through evidence-based interventions.

Despite feminist criticism, the SWERV initiative is a pioneering effort that addresses the harsh realities faced by sex workers. NUM’s tools, such as the NUMchecker, empower sex workers to report violence and stay safe, offering practical solutions to immediate threats. Critics like Moran and Fisher, entrenched in their ideological views, seem out of touch with the pressing need for measures that directly enhance sex workers' safety and mental health.

A spokesperson for the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine defended the project, emphasizing the collaborative nature of the research with independent academics to evaluate interventions designed to protect vulnerable groups. This commitment to academic freedom and inquiry is essential for advancing public health and safety, even if it challenges entrenched feminist dogma.

Brunel University London echoed this sentiment, supporting the project's focus on evaluating the effectiveness of tools that help sex workers. The university’s endorsement of academic freedom underscores the importance of addressing controversial issues through research, which feminist critics seem determined to undermine.

The SWERV study, launched in December 2023, represents a forward-thinking approach to tackling violence against sex workers. Its findings, to be published in a peer-reviewed journal, will provide valuable insights into creating a safer environment for sex workers, despite the protests from those clinging to outdated and unproductive views.

The Department of Health and Social Care was unable to comment due to the election period.

Arrrgh. This came up in my time line. Julie Bindel on why Sex Work is Bullshit.  I hadn't heard Julie for several years now, I thought she had disappeared, but no she is going strong on her pet project, the extinction of Sex Work.

Watch at your peril, this is a Trigger Warning.

How Much It Will Cost to Pay an Escort

2024-03-05 elrond

In the realm of companionship-for-hire, curiosity often intersects with discretion. Individuals navigate the intriguing world of escort services. The allure of shared experiences and intimate connections may beckon. Yet, one question remains at the forefront. How much does it truly cost to engage the services of an escort?

People find companions in various ways. From going to bars or using dating apps to attending events tailored to their interests. Some prefer the convenience of escort services. Others enjoy the excitement of spontaneous encounters.

Let's delve into the sophistication of this often opaque industry. We'll uncover the factors influencing pricing structures. Furthermore, we offer insights into what people can expect when considering this form of companionship.

Alternatives to Hiring an Escort

There are various avenues for those seeking alternatives to hiring an escort. They foster genuine connections and address different needs. Joining social groups or clubs offers opportunities to meet new people. These places provide context that aligns with personal interests. This facilitates organic and meaningful relationships.

It doesn't matter if this happens through paid services or chance meetings. The quest for companionship reflects the diverse preferences and lifestyles of people. You can even join a kinky event tonight and find a person whom you match with.

Those with emotional challenges or seeking support in relationships may find therapy valuable. It provides a safe and confidential space to explore feelings, gain insight, and develop coping strategies.

Therapy provides a safe and confidential space. Individuals can explore feelings, gain insight, and develop coping strategies there.

What Affects the Cost?

The cost of hiring an escort hinges on various factors. Location plays a pivotal role. Big cities often command higher rates than smaller towns due to differences in demand and cost of living.

Pixabay

Additionally, the type of escort and their range of services can influence pricing. There are different variations, expertise, and specialities offered. Duration is another key determinant. Longer appointments incur higher hourly rates.

Moreover, clients seeking extra services or special requests should expect additional fees. These bespoke offerings often come at an added cost.

Discretion and Privacy

Maintaining privacy holds utmost importance for many clients seeking escort services.

Look for established agencies that place a premium on preserving client confidentiality. They put in place stringent measures to safeguard personal information. Opting for a service that respects and prioritises your discretion is vital. Ensuring a secure and confidential experience allows you to engage with confidence and peace of mind.

Different Rates for Different Needs

Escort services offer a spectrum of options tailored to diverse needs. Each has its own pricing structure. For those seeking basic companionship without intimate interactions, rates may be lower. Thus reflecting the simplicity of the arrangement.

High-end escorts specialise in catering to specific clientele or providing bespoke experiences. Their premium prices command exclusivity and personalised attention offered.

It doesn't matter if clients desire simple companionship or indulgent experiences.

The escort industry accommodates varying preferences. It offers corresponding rates which reflect the level of service and customisation sought.

Remember Safety and Legality

When engaging in escort services, prioritising safety and legality is paramount. Opting for reputable and well-established services enhances the experience's quality. It also ensures the safety and security of both clients and escorts.

Additionally, staying informed about the laws and regulations governing the hiring of escorts in your area is crucial. It'll allow you to avoid any potential legal repercussions.

By considering these factors, individuals can confidently navigate the world of escort services. They safeguard both their well-being and legal standing.

Ethical Considerations

When selecting an escort, it's essential to consider both practical and individual factors. At this same time, people should maintain a strong ethical code. It's crucial to honour and appreciate the rights and dignity of the person supplying companionship services. Always ensure the interaction is a positive and respectful experience for both parties.

Ensuring that the interaction is consensual and conducted with mutual respect is paramount. This involves clear communication and boundaries. People should commit to upholding the dignity and autonomy of both parties involved.

Budgeting and Planning

Effective budgeting and careful planning are essential aspects when considering hiring an escort. Begin by determining a clear budget that aligns with your financial capabilities and preferences. Commit to adhering to it throughout the process.

Take into account all potential expenses. This includes the service base rate and additional extras or special request costs.

Thoroughly consider these expenses upfront. By doing so, you can ensure that your budget remains manageable. Moreover, you'll be prepared for any financial obligations arising during your escort engagement.

The Dynamic Aspect of the Industry

Supply and demand dynamics play a significant role in shaping the pricing landscape within the escort industry. Prices are subject to fluctuation. This can be based on various factors.

In bustling locales or peak times, prices tend to escalate in response to heightened demand. During quieter periods, prices may become more negotiable. Providers seek to attract clients in a competitive market.

Research and Reviews

Conducting thorough research and reading reviews is essential. Take the time to peruse testimonials and feedback from previous clients. This will help you gain insights into the quality and reliability of the service.

Unsplash

Look for agencies or individuals with a proven track record. They’ll offer a reputation for professionalism and discretion. Invest your time in research and paying attention to reviews. By doing it, you can make an informed decision and ensure that you engage with a reputable and trustworthy escort service.

Spice Up Your Private Life!

Exploring escort services involves considering cost, safety, and ethics. It requires careful thought about alternatives, safety measures, and ethical behaviour. Understanding pricing factors and the importance of discretion and privacy is crucial. It'll help you make informed and cautious decisions. People can ensure a fulfilling and respectful experience by budgeting, planning, and researching.

Approaching escort services with both practicality and integrity is key. It's essential to prioritise personal well-being and respect for others throughout the process. Thus fostering a positive and responsible engagement with this aspect of companionship-seeking.

No need to hire overpriced human talent when AI is superior anyway. The bots are getting scary good. The money in "sexwork" porn and findom and even Hollywood is about to dry up, as customers now have a superior, cheaper alternative.

Rather a misogynistic rant from this U tuber.

New YouGov polling reveals a disparity in attitudes toward sex work between genders, with more women advocating for its stigmatization compared to men. The study, shared exclusively with The Independent, indicates that while approximately one in five individuals believe sex work should be shamed, a notable discrepancy exists between genders. Specifically, 27 percent of women surveyed express support for stigmatizing sex work, whereas only 17 percent of men share this view.

Moreover, findings suggest a prevailing reluctance among Britons to befriend individuals involved in pornography or sex work. A majority, comprising 52 percent, admit they would not befriend a current porn star, while 46 percent express a similar sentiment toward sex workers or escorts.

Despite these attitudes, a significant portion of the population, accounting for 52 percent, believes it should be legal to engage in consensual paid sex. However, 29 percent disagree with this perspective.

Niki Adams from the English Collective of Prostitutes underscores the link between anti-sex work sentiments and the criminalization of the profession, emphasizing the misconceptions surrounding sex workers. Adams highlights the diverse backgrounds of sex workers, many of whom are mothers supporting families in challenging economic circumstances.

She contends that societal hostility toward sex workers, particularly among women, stems from societal pressures to distance oneself from the profession. Adams emphasizes the urgent need for decriminalization to address violence against sex workers, enhance health outcomes, and promote visibility.

Despite the legal framework in England, Scotland, and Wales allowing for consensual sex transactions, various activities associated with sex work remain illegal. Notably, the study reveals a disparity in gender attitudes toward the legality of paying for sex, with 64 percent of men supporting its legalization compared to 41 percent of women.

Chiara Capraro of Amnesty International UK condemns the stigma against sex workers, attributing it to criminalization and gender stereotypes. She stresses that such stigmatization undermines sex workers' access to essential services and perpetuates violence against them. Capraro also highlights the struggles faced by many sex workers, particularly mothers, amid rising living costs.

Over the past few years, the digital landscape has witnessed a crackdown on sexual content across various platforms owned by Meta, including Instagram. This crackdown has affected individuals like Alice, a 34-year-old sex worker who relies on WhatsApp for communication during work hours. However, two months ago, Alice encountered a distressing situation when she discovered that her WhatsApp account, which she had used for six years, had vanished without warning. This loss not only disrupted her ability to communicate with clients but also jeopardized her safety, as WhatsApp had served as a vital tool in navigating potentially risky situations.

The trend of sudden bans on WhatsApp accounts has alarmed many sex workers, including Reed Thomas-Litman, a 33-year-old individual who found herself banned from the platform despite not violating any of its policies. Reed, who had experienced multiple bans on Instagram, was particularly devastated by the loss of her WhatsApp account, which severed her connections with fellow sex workers and support groups.

The situation underscores the precarious position of sex workers in online spaces, where platforms like WhatsApp implement policies without adequate transparency or recourse for affected individuals. This lack of accountability is especially concerning given the essential role that WhatsApp plays in facilitating communication and support networks among sex workers.

Moreover, the encryption features of WhatsApp, which are marketed as ensuring privacy and security, have left many sex workers puzzled by the platform's ability to detect and enforce bans based on content. While WhatsApp claims that its end-to-end encryption protects user messages from prying eyes, it has been revealed that certain metadata, such as group chat titles and display names, are not encrypted. This revelation raises questions about the extent of privacy afforded by WhatsApp and the implications for users, particularly those engaged in sensitive or stigmatized activities like sex work.

The ramifications of WhatsApp bans extend beyond mere inconvenience; they pose significant risks to the safety and well-being of sex workers. For individuals like Danielle, whose WhatsApp account was abruptly deleted, the loss of essential communication channels with clients not only jeopardizes their income but also compromises their ability to vet potential clients and maintain personal safety. Furthermore, the criminalization of sex work exacerbates the vulnerability of sex workers, as they face legal risks simply for communicating with peers and seeking support networks.

The actions of Meta, the parent company of WhatsApp, underscore broader societal attitudes towards sex work, which are often steeped in stigma and moral judgment. As anti-sex sentiment pervades legislative efforts like the UK's Online Safety Bill and the US FOSTA-SESTA bills, sex workers find themselves increasingly marginalized and subjected to punitive measures in both digital and physical spaces. Reed's experience reflects this societal bias, as she encounters condemnation and victim-blaming even when seeking solidarity and support online.

In conclusion, the arbitrary bans imposed by WhatsApp on sex workers highlight the urgent need for greater accountability and transparency in platform governance. The erosion of digital spaces for sex workers not only undermines their livelihoods but also endangers their safety and well-being. As advocates like Laura Watson of the English Collective of Prostitutes emphasize, access to online support networks is essential for ensuring the rights and dignity of sex workers in an increasingly hostile digital landscape. It is imperative that platforms like WhatsApp recognize their responsibility to uphold the rights of all users, regardless of their occupation or social status.

Facial identification technology has emerged as a tool to detain and prohibit sex workers from entering certain countries, signaling the advent of an increasingly invasive surveillance state propelled by artificial intelligence.

This technology has been wielded by border control authorities to target individuals within the sex work industry, using facial recognition algorithms to identify and track them across borders. Such measures have resulted in detentions, bans, and severe limitations on the mobility of sex workers, exemplifying the profound impact of AI-driven surveillance on personal freedoms.

The use of facial ID in this context highlights broader concerns regarding privacy invasion, civil liberties, and the disproportionate targeting of marginalized communities. It underscores the rapid evolution of surveillance techniques, facilitated by AI, which not only undermines individual rights but also perpetuates systemic discrimination against certain groups.

Moreover, the utilization of facial recognition to enforce travel bans reveals a concerning precedent for the expansion of state-controlled monitoring and control mechanisms. The far-reaching implications of this technology extend beyond the confines of border security, posing fundamental questions about the ethical boundaries of AI deployment and the erosion of personal autonomy in an increasingly monitored society.

As such, the intersection of facial ID technology and its implications for the restriction of movement for sex workers serves as a stark warning about the encroachment of pervasive surveillance facilitated by AI, highlighting the urgent need for comprehensive discussions on the ethical and societal impacts of such advancements.

Sydney, a Canadian sex worker, exercised caution by leaving her cellphones behind when crossing the U.S. border due to previous accounts of colleagues facing phone seizures by border patrol. Despite Canada's legalization of escorting under the Nordic Model, aimed at decriminalizing the sale of sex, practical implications included continued police surveillance and violence against sex workers. Opting for privacy, Sydney chose not to show her face in advertisements, impacting her client base.

In 2014, Sydney and her wife's routine trip to Massachusetts hit a snag when self-service kiosks, newly installed by Massport at Boston Logan Airport, flagged Sydney upon scanning her passport, signaling an impending issue. Despite leaving her phones behind, border officers detained her and requested access to her wife's phone. Separated and subjected to interrogation in a chilling room, Sydney found herself in a distressing situation.

This incident echoed a similar occurrence involving Sydney's friend Naomi in 2013 at Toronto Pearson Airport. Naomi, also in the sex work industry but operating with a face-out approach, received a 10-year travel ban after border agents found connections between her and fellow sex workers, including Sydney, through flight records and their joint advertisements.

Border agents connected the dots between Naomi and Sydney, despite Sydney concealing her face, leading to a five-year travel ban for Sydney. This ban deterred her from attempting any further international travel.

Sydney’s experience underscores the ongoing challenges faced by sex workers despite legislative changes. The border patrol's scrutiny and tactics to identify and restrict their movement serve as a stark reminder of the persistent surveillance and hurdles encountered by individuals in the sex work industry, impacting their freedom of travel and privacy.

A recent study looked at information from more than 900 young people in Canada. The researchers found a strong connection between engaging in sex work and a condition called muscle dysmorphia.

Sex work, which includes various activities, is often looked down upon in Canada, and people who do sex work face negative stereotypes. About 4% of Canadian young people are estimated to be involved in selling sex. Previous research has shown that those in sex work are more likely to have problems with drugs, mental health, and physical injuries. However, until now, no research has specifically explored the link between sex work and muscle dysmorphia.

The researchers suggest that people in sex work might be trying to achieve a more muscular and attractive body to fit in with societal ideals. They also point out that the way sex work is done is changing, with more use of digital and online platforms.

In conclusion, the study's findings are new and show a connection between a history of sex work and signs of muscle dysmorphia. The researchers believe more studies are necessary, especially considering the changing ways sex work is happening online.

The researchers suggest that doctors and community health workers should pay attention to these findings and consider checking for both sex work and signs of muscle dysmorphia in young people.

Six women have been rescued from a modern slavery ring in north London after being lured to the capital by fake boyfriends.

The women, all from Romania, were targeted by human traffickers who used the so-called "loverboy" tactic to win their trust. The traffickers would pose as romantic partners, building relationships with the women before convincing them to travel to London. Once in the UK, the women were forced into prostitution.

The rescue operation was carried out by a joint team of Metropolitan Police officers and Romanian Police, supported by Eurojust and Europol. In a series of raids in the early hours of Friday morning, officers simultaneously executed 12 warrants in Iasi, Romania, and three in Colindale, north London.

As part of the raids, large quantities of cash, high-value watches and vehicles, and firearms were seized in Romania. Five people were arrested in Romania, and a 24-year-old man was arrested in London.

The women are now being supported by specialist officers and the charity Justice and Care.

This is a serious case of modern slavery, and it is important to remember that these women are victims. They were tricked and manipulated by the traffickers, and they deserve our compassion and support. We must all work together to combat modern slavery and protect vulnerable people from exploitation.

Five people have been detained in Romania and a 24-year-old man has been arrested in London on suspicion of modern slavery offences.

The arrests were made as part of a joint operation between the Metropolitan Police and Romanian Police, supported by Eurojust and Europol.

The operation targeted an organised criminal network suspected of recruiting and grooming women in Romania before trafficking them to the UK where they were forced into prostitution.

Six victims were rescued during the operation and are now being supported by specialist officers and the charity Justice and Care.

Detective Inspector Melanie Lillywhite from the Met’s Central Specialist Crime’s Modern Slavery Unit said: “This is a significant operation which has disrupted a major organised criminal network involved in modern slavery.

“The victims of this crime have been subjected to horrific abuse and exploitation, and I am pleased that they have been rescued and are now being supported.

“Modern slavery is a serious crime which is still happening in London and across the UK. The Met’s modern slavery team works around the clock to identify and protect victims, and we will continue to do everything we can to bring those responsible to justice.”

If you suspect that someone is being trafficked, please contact the police or the Modern Slavery Helpline on 0800 0121 700. You can also report it online at www.modernslaveryhelpline.org.uk.

Campaigners have warned that the freezing of bank accounts for prostitues leaves them vulnerable to exploitation and violence.

The warning comes after former UKIP leader Nigel Farage demanded compensation from private bank Coutts after it closed his account, partly due to his political views.

Two bank bosses, including NatWest Group's chief executive Dame Alison Rose, stepped down last week, with Ms Rose admitting she was the source of a BBC story stating Farage's bank account was shut on commercial grounds.

Audrey Caradonna, a spokesperson for the Sex Workers' Union, told The Independent: "For prostitutes, suddenly losing access to your bank account and your money isn't a freak occurrence but an all too common nightmare."

She said that the freezing of bank accounts leaves sex workers unable to withdraw money or make payments, which can make them increasingly vulnerable to exploitation and violence.

"A lack of funds means many are forced to take on riskier work, such as working in isolated locations or accepting cash payments," she said.

"This puts them at risk of being exploited by clients or even attacked."

Caradonna called on banks to stop freezing the bank accounts of sex workers and to ensure that they have access to the financial services they need.

The freezing of bank accounts is a serious issue that can have a devastating impact on sex workers.

It is important that banks take steps to ensure that this does not happen, and that they provide support to those who have been affected.

  • The freezing of bank accounts can have a significant impact on the mental and physical health of sexworkers.
  • It can also make it difficult for them to pay their rent, bills, and other expenses.
  • The freezing of bank accounts can also lead to sex workers being evicted from their homes or losing their jobs.
  • Campaigners are calling on banks to introduce clear and transparent policies on the freezing of bank accounts, and to provide more support to those who have been affected.

It seems that, like with lipstick sales and luxury hair treatments, the success of strip clubs is another marker of an economic downturn.

Recessions have historically been marked by a decrease in consumer spending, and this recession is no exception. As one Twitter user noted, her earnings have halved and the clubs are almost empty. Another commented, Strippers have been telling y’all the recession is coming baby. We are feeling it in the clubs everywhere. You know it’s bad if girls from Miami are coming to New York to work.”

When times are tough, folks just chill at home more; they ain’t gonna spend and hit the clubs. They’re hooking up online instead, said Markus Frind, the big boss of the dating site Plenty of Fish, during the 2009 money meltdown.

Some market research peeps called IBISWorld say that US strip clubs are making way less dough these days. They reckon their profit dropped by more than 12 per cent to $1.4bn in 2018, which is down from $1.6bn in 2012. That’s rough!  We got 30% more sex workers calling us last year who need help to start working. The prostitutes who call us are freaking out and scared. Women are begging us to hook them up with food vouchers for food banks. One person hadn’t eaten right for three days," she says. Others have called with housing issues, like getting kicked out or having their landlords be jerks to them," says Niki. “They’re trying to figure out how they’re gonna survive the next week.”

Newham Council has announced that it will develop a new Sex Work Strategy that puts public health at the heart of supporting vulnerable people and reducing the stigmatisation and exploitation of street and off-street Sex workers. The Council made this announcement after consulting on Sex work within the borough recently.

The new strategy will adopt a public health approach based on extensive feedback from residents across the borough, partners and experts. The Council will co-design the new Sex Work Strategy with our communities, using their vast experience and knowledge, including Sex workers.

The Council will partner with people with lived experience, residents and experts to conduct a needs assessment as part of the first phase of work. This assessment will determine the scale and nature of Sex work across Newham and identify local needs, gaps and wider community impact. The Council will then develop a comprehensive and holistic strategy. The Council will also review best practices locally, nationally, and internationally to find solutions for Newham.

The Strategy will acknowledge sensitively the complexity of prostitution and the diversity of people involved who are at risk of harm. It will also support the Council’s recently published Domestic Abuse Strategy and the existing preventative measures to stop violence against women and girls and the exploitation of vulnerable individuals.

Councillor Neil Wilson, Cabinet Member for Adults and Social Care, stated: “We will adopt a public health approach to devise a new Sex Work strategy in collaboration with experts and individuals who have lived experiences. The needs assessment will enable us to comprehend the intricacies, difficulties and harms that street and off-street Sex work entail, as well as the impact on our communities. We will not proceed with the Public Space Protection Order consultation results that we will publish shortly, because we aim to formulate a Sex Work strategy that is comprehensive and offers long-term sustainable solutions to mitigate the harmful effects of Sex work for Sex workers and local residents alike.”

The development of the new Sex Work strategy will take place over the next 10 months, and will incorporate a formal consultation. A final Sex Work strategy will be issued in Spring 2024.

As the Council initiates the needs assessment and co-design stages of the Sex Work strategy, it remains dedicated to supporting street Sex workers through existing commissioned services that provide specialist and outreach-based provisions as well as access to safe spaces in the north of the borough. The Council will also persist in working with residents affected by Sex work to address community safety concerns sensitively.

Time of Event: 9:30 AM — 1:15 PM

Place of Event: Webinar

There were believed to be 105,000 individuals in the UK who are involved in prostitution, up from 72,000 in 2016. The vast majority of these are women. The cost-of-living crisis is pushing yet more women into sex work and forcing them to take work from violent and exploitative clients. A 2015 National Ugly Mugs Our survey with Leeds University found 49% of sex workers were “worried” or “very worried” about their safety and 47% have been targeted by offenders. Meanwhile, 49% were either “unconfident” or “very unconfident” that police would take their reports seriously. It is estimated that 152 sex workers were murdered in the UK between 1990 and 2015. The charity Beyond the Streets highlights that 76% of those involved in prostitution experience some form of post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of this work.

Currently, sex work is legal in England, Wales and Scotland, but many of the surrounding aspects remain illegal, such as solicitation or running a brothel. The UK government have stated though that whilst they do not intend to change the law around sex work, they are committed to tackling the harm and exploitation associated with sex work. The Scottish government has also been criticised for focussing their support in this area towards charities that are not backed by sex workers, and that are focussed on getting people out of the industry rather than supporting those in it.

The Home Affairs Committee’s 2016 report, Prostitution, recommended a shift to complete decriminalisation. Dan Vajzovic, the National Police Chief Council’s lead for prostitution, who is working alongside government officials to reassess brothel keeping legislation, has called on the government to review prostitution laws to ensure sex workers can work together on the same premises to remain safe. This would “better enable the police to focus our resources on protecting sex workers and tackling those who are controlling or exploiting,” Vajzovic argues. According to National Ugly Mugs, sex workers are ten times safer working indoors than on the streets.

Christine Jardine MP, Liberal Democrat spokesperson for women and equalities, who supports the decriminalisation of brothel keeping, has called for a proper government strategy to accompany it. Also supporting decriminalisation of brothels, Labour MP, Nadia Whittome, has highlighted that “Other laws aimed at sex work – such as soliciting – should also be repealed, to improve sex workers’ rights, safety and ability to leave the sex industry if they choose. Alongside decriminalisation, the government must urgently tackle the growing levels of poverty that are pushing more women into sex work to make ends meet.”

This timely symposium will provide sex workers, safeguarding boards, police forces, local authorities, and social care providers with an opportunity to identify and debate priorities for reform and develop strategies for protecting and expanding the rights of sex workers.

A Tory guy who said a woman who got raped was probably a hooker who got mad because a guy didn’t pay her got kicked out by his party.

Shaun Slator, who got elected last year in Bromley, London, got in trouble for tweeting something nasty on New Year’s Eve, when the cops asked for help about a rape case in Plumstead.

He tweeted: “More likely that it’s a punter that didn’t pay”.

The Tories suspended him in January, but he still works as an independent guy because the council said he wasn’t doing his job when he tweeted that.

The council’s Tory boss said last month he would let Slator back in – but the party said no way and kicked him out for good.

A Tory person said: “The Conservative Party has some rules and ways to deal with complaints in private. This is how it should be. After we finished this, we kicked out Cllr Slator.”

Mr Slator, who also works for an MP called Jackie Doyle-Price, told the BBC: “I’m not happy about this and I will appeal soon.”

Hey there! So, there's a story about a police officer named PC Jonathan Simon who allegedly used CCTV cameras to stalk his ex-girlfriend after she ended their relationship because he only wanted sex. The court heard that they met when he was called to her address for a neighbor dispute, and he then manufactured reasons to return to her address later that day, where they became intimate. The woman ended the relationship because she felt he only wanted sex and didn't care about her. Later on, she faced financial difficulty and turned to Simon for advice. She claims he suggested she take up sex work to help her financial situation. The woman also said Simon stalked her using CCTV cameras, and he turned up uninvited to her address on multiple occasions, which made her feel uncomfortable and scared. The court heard that Simon has been suspended from his job, and the trial continues.

Dear Mr Andrews by Lotte Latham is published by Guts Publishing and is out no

Escorting is a safer and simpler option, Latham has decided. “I just don’t like the idea of not being able to operate as a business,” she says. “Back in ancient Greece, prostitutes had guilds. They were business women in their own right. With escorting, I can check other people’s profiles and see what people are charging. There’s a two-way reviewing system, so I can see if a punter’s had a bad review from someone, and I can ask for a deposit.”

Latham hopes people won’t go in expecting Dear Mr Andrews to be a glamorous Secret Diary of a Call Girl-style beach read. Actually, it’s more in the realism vein of a recent spate of Australian titles written by sex workers: Come by Rita Therese; Nothing But My Body by Tilly Lawless; Money for Something by Mia Walsch and Happy Endings by Bella Green. Similarly to many of those, Latham’s book is a call to arms to decriminalise sex work, which she considers increasingly urgent as the cost-of-living crisis sees more women signing up as escorts, to fewer clients. “Therefore the prices go down and people can push things like not wearing condoms,” she says. “The exploitation level goes up when there’s the need.”

Where police claim that raids were made on brothels because there is trafficking occurring, in actual fact no referrals are made to support services in 7 out of 10 of these raids.

Researchers warn that police officers are misleading the public by claiming they have rescued trafficking victims in these raids.  Police regularly conduct raids on brothels on the pretext they are saving trafficking victims.

Researchers requested information on the number of women identified as trafficked since 2016.  The report found women identified as trafficked were not entering into the National Referral scheme.

Researchers stated that the high number of cases where trafficking victims are not referred suggested that the police were misidentifying sex workers.

Financial times article reports that the conservative MP Caroline Nokes will write to the Ministry of Justice and the Home Office, asking them to look at the factors driving people into sex work. It is felt that the economic downturn is forcing many women into sex work.

It is felt that the archaic laws on sex work should be reviewed, this falls into two camps, such as decriminalisation as in New Zealand. Belgium and some states of Australia.  T

The other camp proposed the criminalisation of clients such in Ireland, Sweden and France. If sex workers are having a raw deal, with more working and less clients, then criminalising their clients will make them even more vulnerable.

She hates that a young woman Labour MP has supported sex worker led organisations that look for decriminalization of the sex industry. She fails to understand that decriminalization would allow sex workers to work together without fear of being prosecuted. She says prostitution is not an offence, which is true. She fails to understand the laws make it hard to work safely.

Julie wants to criminalize the client; she thinks this will save sex workers. No, it won't. Has she noticed how in the USA sex work is big, and it is illegal for both clients and sellers?  Has she noticed the street work going on in East London, where both sex workers and clients are breaking the law?

A guide has been published with information on the law relating to sex workers, and where to get help. The guide has information on working safley.

Many college students must bear the extra responsibility of working a part-time or full-time job along with going to school. The National Center for Education Statistics found that 74% of part-time and 40% of full-time undergraduate students work. Since the balance between college classes and a job to help pay for tuition can call for a hectic schedule, some students may instead resort to work that would be considered different or unconventional. These types of jobs allow for more self-employed routes, giving more flexible scheduling. Such jobs may range from driving for Uber to earning money through cryptocurrency and trading stocks. For lots of students in their college eras, any job seems good enough to help survive.

One unconventional job that many find interesting and somewhat taboo is sex work. This work consists of performing sexual favors, acts or services in exchange for compensation, usually in the form of money. A survey conducted by the National Union of Students on student sex workers, revealed that less than 15% of its respondents felt that their schools’ student unions did not provide enough support for their line of work. In addition, 53% of respondents wanted more information regarding sexual health matters and 51% wanted more information on financial help.

The cost-of-living crisis is forcing women into sex work so that they can feed their children. The calls to the English Collective of Prostitutes have risen by a third in the last six months. Over 70% of the callers are mothers desperate for money to feed their children.  This is heartbreaking, many mothers calling are women who have never done sex work before, while others are women who have left sex work for a civvy job but are being forced by circumstances into sex work.

Added to this, there are less clients, clients are feeling the pinch as well. More sex workers and less clients mean mothers are having to take on risky clients.

Diana R. Johnson Chair, Home Affairs Committee, Chair, Home Affairs Committee

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what steps her Department is taking to stop commercial websites partly or wholly dedicated to advertising prostitution from facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation and other sexual offences.

Chris Philp The Minister of State, Home Department

Tackling modern slavery, including online sexual exploitation remains a top priority for this Government, and we are committed to stamping out this abhorrent crime. Since its introduction, the Modern Slavery Act 2015, has given law enforcement agencies the tools to tackle modern slavery, with maximum life sentences for perpetrators and enhanced protection for victims, including children.

We know that traffickers may use adult services websites (ASW) to advertise victims of modern slavery for sexual exploitation and that is why we are working closely with law enforcement partners and online companies to ensure they live up to their responsibilities of preventing their services from being used for criminal activity. Through Project AIDANT, the series of National Crime Agency-led operational intensifications, operational activity to target exploitation associated with ASWs has increased.

Furthermore, under the Online Safety Bill, all in scope companies will need to take action to prevent the use of their services for criminal activity. Illegal content will need to be removed expeditiously and the risk of it appearing and spreading across their services will need to be minimised by effective systems. For priority categories set out in legislation, companies will need to take particularly robust action. This includes sexual exploitation offences contained in the Sexual Offences Act (2003). For these offences, companies will need to consider the necessary systems and processes to identify, assess and address these offences based on a risk assessment. This might mean more resource for content moderation or limiting algorithmic promotion of content.

The Home Office is also providing £1.36m over the next 3 years to ‘Changing Lives’ for their Net-Reach project, which will tackle Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) online, providing early intervention and targeted support for women and girls at high-risk of commercial online exploitation and the risk on online sexual harm.

The cost-of-living crisis is affecting sex workers with a double whammy. There is an influx of new sex workers caused by poverty and destitution.  At the same time, their clients don't have so much money and the demand has as a result fallen.

Reasons never to go into prostitution, the horrors of it and UKpunting Rant.

I have seen many posts talking about working as a escort or sex worker and some of them being in a positive light and some women doing this while married or having a partner.

Well i wanted to write this not just as a rant for myself and to get it off my chest but to let other's know who might consider doing it that there is not that many positives to it. Quite a long detailed post but a necessary one.

I first started doing it 12 years ago and since i have come back the last 2 years i dont want to go into details of exact reasons of why i did it but i had my reasons. I want to give a honest account and hope not to be judged. People in my private life would never guess i do this i am not a typical stereotype nor do i have any addictions or have a husband or partner leeching off me. It was my decision and not taken lightly but there was reasons why i needed money this way.

It's simple, to reduce the number of women selling sex, improve the opportunities for women, and improve their earning power and wages.  Criminalising clients will not reduce the demand much and will make it more dangerous for those women working in the sex industry.  The proof.of  the relationship between earnings and women working in the sex industry, and taking dangerous clients is easy to see.

Look at the report from sky news. Cost of living crisis pushing more women into sex work - and unable to refuse dangerous clients.

With inflation at a record high and wages failing to keep up with spiralling prices and energy bills, the number of calls to the English Collective of Prostitutes has increased by a third this summer.

Spokeswoman Niki Adams, who has helped thousands of women over 30 years, said: "The cost-of-living crisis is now pushing women into sex work in various ways - whether that's on the street, in premises or online.

I don't want women forced into sex work in desperation to make end meets. The only people who should be working in sex work, are those who see it as a career and 'enjoy' the power they get out of entertaining their clients. They have the ability to select and control their meetings. Survival Seawork is abhorrent, and the state should take responsibility in ensuring livable minimum earnings. This Conservative Government has blood in its hands.

Glamour photography poses

Looking for glamour photography poses that’ll give stunning results?

In this article, I’m going to share glamour pose ideas. You’ll find a pose or two for every model – and you can also have fun tweaking the ideas to fit your subject’s interests.

Now, some of the ideas below are nude poses – after all, posing for nudes is a part of glamour photography. But if nudes don’t interest you, that’s completely okay; feel free to skip past.

So, without further ado, let me share the poses you can use for your glamour portraits, starting with:

1. Lying down sideways

This is a good starting pose for intimate glamour shots. It works well in different settings and with different surfaces; for instance, your model might lie on a bed, on the ground, in the grass, or on a sandy beach.

Make sure you get a nice head turn and pay careful attention to the position of your model’s hands.

2. Lying down at an angle

This is a variation on the previous glamour pose, and one that works well with all body types.

Simply ask your model to lie on the ground with their far elbow propping up their head and shoulders. Make sure they angle themselves toward the camera so that their feet are farther from the camera than their head.

3. Lying parallel to the camera with the legs up

This is a lovely pose with a more playful result. Ask the model to keep her upper body lifted, with her head tilted toward the camera and directed slightly down.

Make sure your model’s legs are up – and make sure her toes are pointed over her back.

And for the best results, shoot from a low angle.

4 Natural poses for natural looking results.

I shot a model and used the curvature of the tree for her to lean back on, producing a sexy, relaxed pose.

We are told by the radical feminist that prostitution is exclusively men buying women.  This is factually incorrect. on several levels.

Men buy the services of women, not the women.

Females also buy sex from men. Often this is on holiday where they give gifts to young men while having sex with them.  They don't consider this as prostitution, but it is.

There are women who do buy the services of men, this has come more into the open since the film Good Luck to You, Leo Grande starring Emma Thompson.

In this SUN article we hear about Jane*, a 56-year-old married PA from London, who says she pays for a male escort – and it’s worth every penny.  He built me towards my first orgasm in decades. And it was worth every penny of the £300 an hour I was paying him to pleasure me.

She continued to see the escort. The escort taught her so much about sex.  Her life got better, she lost weight and felt happier.  Her sex life with her husband has got better.

This is a harrowing article about sex worker mothers who have had their children removed from them, because they are sex workers. It forces these mothers to accept abuse from their partners rather than going to the police for support. It highlights the failings of social services and the Family Courts. There are distressing facts in the article.

"Over the past four years, between 1,210 and 1,840 children in the UK have been adopted each year without the consent of their parents. "

We have seen this with sex-working mums, who despite their massive efforts to escape violence, are judged, with social workers implying the woman was putting her child at risk

She asked for support but received none – she felt that social services had written her off because she was a sex worker

Romanian Necolai Paizan, 64, hit his petite victim Agnes Dora Akom at least 20 times over the head with a jigsaw power tool.

A 64-year-old predator who battered a vulnerable young woman to death in a converted shipping container and buried her body in woods has been found guilty of murder.

Romanian Necolai Paizan, 64, hit his petite victim Agnes Dora Akom at least 20 times over the head with a jigsaw power tool during a brutal assault in Brent, north-west London, on May 9 last year.

Afterwards, he was captured on CCTV calmly washing his hands and face before bundling her body into the boot of his car inside a bag.

The escort Summer Dahlia is fearful that the online safety bill will force her to work on the street or brothels.  The fear is the legislation will stop her advertising online with sites such as Adult work.  The potential amendments to the law would make google and other search engines remove adult work from the search indexes.

Dahlia says these sites allow her to vet clients. In America a similar bill closed down many sites, forcing escorts onto the street to find new clients.

Under the current law, the Government said websites are only required to take down content when it is reported by users.

The Online Safety Bill would force sites to be proactive and prevent people from being 'exposed' to the content in the first place.

This article is written by a sex worker. She found that countless clients were using her services to heal from body shame. Most specifically penis size.

One twenty something client opened up about his cock size, and thus his ability to give pleasure t a woman.  He opened up, and I realised he had grown up watching porn, and that his manhood was not as big as the Porn Star studs.

The story (ed. I have heard the myself), is that sex work can often be healing work. Helping to boost confidence, helping to process grief. This sex worker found she was part therapist, part pleasure provider and part healer t her clients.

Definitely a good read.

Watch Heartfelt UK Trailer For French Drama Her Way

The French Drama, Her Way is coming to the UK cinema. It should have been shown at last years Glasgow film festival. In Cécile Ducrocq’s provocative first feature, Her Way showcases a determination for a better life. It is a sex work positive drama. It follows Marie, who has been working in the sex industry for 20 years. She is determined to give her 17 year old son a better life. A life into a life training as a chief at a prestigious cookery school.

A review of the Emma Thompson move, Good Luck to you, Leo Grande.  In this movie Emma hires a male escort.

You gotta ponder, is this escort thing a good route for you? Hiring a companion to be there for you for you to help figure out everything you ever wanted to know about yourself sexually, it sounds somewhat liberating and educational. But then again, most everyone online seems to know exactly what and when they want it, so you’re all confident about all that stuff, right?

So Instincters, would you hire or have you hired a companion?

Is Tinder killing the revenue for escorts?  Are clients moving away from booking an escort, and instead using hookup sites for 'free' sex. Sex has never been more readily available so one would think that would lead to a slowdown in terms of the need to pay for such services, right?

Well hell know. An attractive guy will have a 100% chance of sex with an escort.  That same guy using a hookup site has a 0.06% chance of getting sex.  Women have a greater sucess of 10%

Why I Ask Men Many Questions at the Beginning of Our Acquaintance

Because nobody does and because asking questions is important for the benefit of the men who see me. And why are many men shocked and suspicious when I ask many questions at the beginning of our acquaintance?

Again, because nobody else does.

Women in this industry do not ask questions, hence asking many questions is not the norm. Women in this industry are in it for money. Most make it blatantly obvious so that you don’t have a chance to doubt that fact! So they’ll tell you anything you want to hear to hook your interest and lure you into paying them a visit. These women care about your cash, not about what you want. They are robots who sell intimacy and deliver the opposite in a conveyor belt operation. They care about the numbers, the profits. Never mind the fact that you’re a human being with feelings and desires. So they don’t ask questions about who you are and what you want. Besides, they don’t have the intellectual capacity to ask the right questions. So is it a surprise that someone who asks questions shocks?

Questions about what you want to buy

Here’s an example of what I’m writing about here. Many men relate well to cars, so let’s say that you want to buy a car. You go to a dealer. A poor salesman will spill a list of features and meaningless taglines to you. But the list of features won’t address what you want in and from a car – your preferences. A good salesman will ask questions. About what you want in and from a car. He’ll ask about every detail – the style, colour, features, specs. Then he’ll show you cars that match your preferences as closely as possible. Or if he doesn’t have a car that matches your preferences, he’ll tell you.

When he asks questions about what you want in and from a car, he cares firstly about your preferences and secondly about selling. And you feel that he cares about your preferences first, because there’re more salesmen who care firstly – if not only – about selling… And we all spot them from a mile. The good salesman knows that it pays to care about your preferences because he will far more likely sell you a car that matches your preferences than a car that doesn’t. Logical, isn’t it?

Well, not to every man, as it seems from my years of experience. Albeit my friend is the executive or professional man over 35 who makes informed decisions about what and especially whom he buys, I get calls from all sorts. Bless them all because every man who responds to my listing from the ocean of listings online deserves my appreciation of his interest. But since not every man makes informedchoices about what and especially whom he buys, I’m inspired to shed light on this topic.

So what’s the benefit of me asking many questions?

The benefit is that I find out what you want. And when I know what you want, I can give it to you, which will make you happy. After all, if you are to pay a stranger for a treat to yourself, an experience of a lifetime, an experience that doesn’t happen every day, you should get that, not half of that or something that you didn’t want.

Since a man contacts me for the first time we begin a conversation. I don’t know him, hence I don’t know how he thinks and communicates. So I ask questions to find out – to get to know him. For the sake of both of us. Not all men are clear communicators. And I have to find out where he is on the continuum of clear communication to know how to communicate with him so that we understand each other. Communication builds trust. And isn’t trust super important in contexts like this one?

Experiences that I sell are not standard services.

They’re totally personal and tailored to us – me and the man who is with me. Conversely, your treat to yourself should be a unique totally personal experience which doesn’t happen every day.Nnot a standardized service. You should feel special. You should not feel that the woman who you’re with treats you like every man by rote. Hence think about it logically: don’t unique experiences merit unique questions about what you want to experience? You may have burnt your fingers with women who gave you services, not experiences. Thus you came to seek a unique experience from me. You may have unique requests or ideas of how to spend our time. And if I don’t ask you many questions, how will I know? I don’t read minds. And again, not all men communicate clearly.

I also ask many questions to see whether we’d be a good match if we met.

Money never was my primary motivation for being a companion, masseuse, aromatherapist, photographer, and men’s coach. Hence I don’t place primary importance on profits, the numbers, and hooking men’s interest by lying. I am the light bringer for a reason – to bring light into men’s lives. Light, not more of the dark lies with which the international air space is crowded. I ask men questions to find out whether we would have something in common and be a good match if we met. What’s the point if we’re not to be a good match? If our differences are to be too great to be tolerable? We wouldn’t get on and I wouldn’t take anyone’s money for what didn’t feel right. Men usually come to me after the millionth disappointment, so I wouldn’t want to add a million first.

And last but never least I ask men many questions to find out whether they have integrity, can be trusted, and I’d feel safe and comfortably with them. And so should you, dear reader, ask many questions of every stranger whom you consider letting into life. Because while objects can’t hurt, blackmail, or deceive you, people can! Hence use common sense and give yourself time to get to know the people to whom you want to be close, even if for a short time.
